Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy, August 7–13, 2017

Final Round of 2015 Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy to commence this morning.

Kuda Huraa, Maldives: Competition will resume today at the 2015 Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy. Conditions are clean at Sultan’s Point with waves in the 1.5 to 2-metre range.

Being the final instalment of the multi-disciplined event, today’s action will involve surfers competing on conventional thruster boards (three fin).

The format continues the same as previous days where the round will commence with two three-person heats. First and second place of each heat will move through to a two-person semi-final. Heat winners will then progress to the final to accumulate maximum points in the three-division format.

By the end of today’s competition, the grand finalists will be decided for tomorrow, when a champion will be crowned.
