After four days of incredible competition Joel Parkinson today completed a never-before-seen clean sweep of all three rounds and the grand final to claim a thoroughly deserved win at the Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy.

TWIN FIN Champion to be Crowned today.
Heat one of RD1, will pit Mark Richards (Aus) – who won four consecutive world titles with his twin fin setup from ’79-’82 – against six time world champion Nat Young (AUS) and 1999 world champion Mark Occhilupo (AUS).
The second heat will see seven time world champion Layne Beachley (Aus) take on two time world champion Damien Hardman (Aus) and longboard phenomenon Josh Constable (Aus).
The unique tournament conceived in conjunction with luxury surf pioneers Tropicsurf will be co-ordinated from the three-deck, thirty-nine metre Four Seasons Explorer luxury catamaran.
The Twin Fin Champion, of the worlds most luxurious surfing event, will be crowned later today.

Day three of the Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy followed a similar storyline to the previous rounds of competition as Joel Parkinson once again topped Adriano de Souza in their third straight final of the week.
Twin Fin Division Highlights
Despite the flawless weather, it was raining eights and nines in the water with Joel Parkinson walking away victorious over Adriano de Souza for a second day running.
Single Fin Division Highlights
The Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy kicks off in style in flawless four-foot Sultans, with single-fin surfboards the order of the day at the world’s most luxurious surfing event.
