With an increase in swell and cleaner conditions forecast over the weekend, competition is set to resume tomorrow with the Twin Fin division, before finalising on Sunday with the Thruster Division and Grand Champions Final.
Single Fin runner-up Martin Potter (GB), who coaches some of the worlds elite surfers, said he is enjoying being back in competition mode.
"I'm loving it, I just have to put into practice what I've been preaching," joked Potter.
An official call for Saturday's start time will be made at 7am tomorrow morning by Tropicsurf organisers.
