Four Seasons Resorts Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy remains on hold
Kuda Huraa, Maldives, Thursday, August 29th: The Four Seasons Resorts Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy remains on hold with a second consecutive lay-day called due to small waves and wind affected conditions.
The swell forecast remains favorable for the event to recommence by the weekend.
Conditions will again be re-accessed tomorrow morning at 8am for a possible start for the Twin Fin Division.
The three fin Thruster Division will then remain the next division to be staged and will decide the two surfers qualifying for the all important final.
Day three of the Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy followed a similar storyline to the previous rounds of competition as Joel Parkinson once again topped Adriano de Souza in their third straight final of the week.
